Respilon’s Filtration Technology Has Been Verified By Independent Lab Testing
The effectiveness of Respilon’s nanofiber membrane filtration technology has been verified by Nelson Laboratories, a leading, global testing lab specializing in expert advisory and testing solutions for medical device, pharmaceutical, tissue & biologics companies.
Respilon is a Czech company that produces protective face masks and neck scarves (or gators) made of a nanofiber material worn to protect against pollution, allergens and infectious diseases including viruses. The new, enhanced version of their masks includes a copper oxide material. According to the company, Respilon’s existing nanofiber technology blocks viruses but with the addition of the new copper oxide technology, the masks kills the viruses.
Respilon Products Include The Following:
RespiPro Face Mask
Respilon says the mask is:
“A response to the rampant outbreak of the coronavirus – a unique innovation: nanofiber face mask and respirators enriched with accelerated copper oxide that actively kills viruses and bacteria.”
RespiMask
The new versions of these two new masks are enhanced with a copper oxide technology that adds additional protection.
The New Respimask Pro Face Mask and Respimask are available as of April 2020
R-Shield Neck Scarfs (also called R-Shield Gators)
Respilon produces neck gators using Respilon’s nanofiber technology, which also are verified by an independent testing lab to eliminate viruses. The neck gators come in a variety of colors and designs.
It is expected they will be offering the neck R-Shield neck gators using the copper oxide technology sometime in late 2020. The existing R-shields are currently available on a limited basis as demand is high.
Respilon States the following:
“The Filtration efficiency is equivalent to respirator standards EN-149 FFP1 or US standard N95 as well as EN 14683 – Type IIR Standard for facemasks.”
