The ‘CBD Essence’ brand looks like an authentic authentic CBD oil product but, looking at the tincture products, they unfortunately have added unnecessary ingredients which some consumers seek to avoid such as Stevia and sunflower lecitin. They use the preferred low-heat CO2 extraction method and use only non-GMO, quality ingredients. According to a representative from the company...“We are now using Colorado Domestic Hemp with most all of our products…”... though their website as of August 12 2017 says the following indicating that they now use both Colorado hemp and hemp from Europe. The CBDEssence website on August 12 2017 states..."CBD Essence® edibles comes from either domestic US or EU Certified Industrial Agriculturally grown Hemp plants having naturally occurring high CBD... and <0.3% of low THC and are considered food since they do Not cause thc to enter the body." And on another page..."Our legal cannabis edibles come from natural hemp oils extract from legal hemp plants Grown by sustainable ways on pristine farmland in Europe."
“CBD Essence® products are formulated and packaged exclusively by NutraHemp Corp Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA.”
1) Uses a preferred CO2 extraction method
2) Uses Colorado Domestic Hemp in most of their products
3) Bottled In USA
4) Lab-tested for purity by a 3rd party independent testing lab
5) Uses pesticide and herbicide free hemp as source material
Has unnecessary additional ingredients which some consumers avoid such as 'stevia and 'hemp SEED oil.'
They have no stated policy for returns and refunds.
Looks like a decent CBD oil product EXCEPT...
We wish they did not include unnecessary ingredients, specifically the 'stevia'. Also, we wish they would use an olive oil base instead of a hemp seed oil base.
And, we don't like the lack of a refund/return policy.
